Dusters Time Travel Meet #2 2013 Pictures

Dusters car meet 2013 was perfect!

The weathergods was with us the hole weekend. Clear blue sky
And alot of both new and old cars and motorcycles showed up this year.

Most of the guys in the club had been working there ases of until the last hours on their rides.

Micke took the premiere ride in his newbuilt 28 roadster on deuce rails the day before the show.

I blew my engine in my pheaton on the way to Jokers and took the test ride with the new built engine from Gothenburg up to Borlänge during the night  and arrived in 5.30 in the morning.

Sören Came with his new 1935 pheaton! What a ride!

We open up the doors at noon on friday.During the night Joe and the Hornets played. what a bunch of great guys.

Bara 4 dagar kvar!! Kollade på Yr.no Samt Klart.se Håller det vädret i sig blir det en kannon helg +22 Fre +26 Lör !!!!!

Countdown to the TTM

Fan vad tiden går fort! Bara 11dagar kvar tills grindarna öppnas för TTM.
Vill bara komma med lite mer info som det varit funderingar om. Vad som gäller.
Som sagt Inga bilar nyare än 1954 dvs inga 55 och uppåt. Är Bilen en Custom Så är det tid typiskt som gäller. Alltså den skulle kunna vara byggd på 50 talet som infattar till -59 i delar.
Samma sak gäller för Hot Rods / Street Rods. Är den bygg i 50 stil med delar till -59 är det OK.
Alltså toppventils motorer är OK om det är tid typiska delar på den.

En annan fråga som in kommit är. Dom som inte har Bilar /Mc som klarar kraven.
Gäller bara! dom som kommer för att bo kvar och har sin bil med sig. Finns det en inhägnad parkering. Men det gäller alltså bara dom bilarna / mc i mån av plats. Inga svenne bilar! Dom som kommer med dom får parkera på annan anvisad parkering. Har ni frågor hör av er.

Another weekend...

Damn, the weekends are too short! I think I have to take next week off work. Its about three weeks left to the time travel meet and I hope I can drive there!!

I hope to get the parts back from the powder coating early next week so I can get the chassis rolling, mount the brakes, do the drivetrain complete and fire it up… and…and ….and… :)

 

By the way, do someone nearby have a chopped radiator to sell or lend me??

Its gonna be a provisional exhaust system this summer.

One month left to the time travel meet!

TIME PRESSURE !

This last weekend we epoxy primer on my brother Hi Boy frame.
After week´s with welding grinding and sanding. It was ready for the paint.
Now when the frame are in expoy. I did mont the motor in the rails. And  mount a Lincoln Zephyr  dist and a edelbrock tall regular intake on it.
Is will be motor for this summer. Next step will be to get all the other chassie parts from the powder coating. So we can get this chassie rolling.
It will be a long weekend to my brother again to work on this Roadster so it will be done at the time travel meet. It  not easy to work in a nother country (Norway) And build a hot rod  at the same time. thats is some time pressure to do that.

The first test run for the year!

This weekend i was over to jockes place. and he did fire up his hi boy for the first time this year after a winter work. nothing is like the first run for the summer. littel more to do on it before its ready for the time travel meet 2013. and ofcourse some more great advents this year.

The -35

This weekend Sören did some work on the -35.
The car was lowering and a pair of bubble skirts was in place.
He replace the orginal brake drums to newer -37 drums. Thanks Fedde for the front drums. And he try  his Flipper cap on the wheels. the car will be a good looking pre war slead....... more will come!

Pre war Sled.

One more car to the club. This time Sören find a nice -35 Phaeton

frome a close freind Hans. This is  a wonderful car. Next step will be. Lowering and-39 wheels with Flipper cap´s, Bubbel skirts, And some Hop up speed parts. Everything of course pre war. This one will be a perfect Sled!
